One Jump to a Painful Injury

I had quite an unfortunate accident that caused me to have chiropractic care in San Jose. My brother decided to get a trampoline and I took turns jumping on it with him. I did one really big jump and missed the trampoline and landed on the ground. As I hit the ground, my life flashed before my eyes. I realized that I wasn’t dead yet, but the thought of dying or being paralyzed ran through my mind. I started to slowly panic while in pain from the fall. My brother rushed over to me to see if I was fine.

I was lucky that I didn’t land on my head or didn’t do anything that would injure my spine, but my back did hurt a lot. I had trouble getting up and my brother had to help me. He took me to the chiropractor and I was able to get an examination there. The chiropractor told me that I was lucky that nothing was broken. He also told me that the pain would go away with some rest and medication. I made a vow that I would never get back on that trampoline, because I didn’t want to get a worse injury.

Even though I was injured, my brother didn’t want to get rid of the trampoline. He thought it would be a waste to get rid of it simply because of one injury. That was his decision to make, but I urged him to reconsider. I don’t live with my brother, so if he was injured by it, there would be no one to help him get medical treatment like he did for me. The only reason I was able to get it was because my brother was there to help me, because he invited me over to his house.
