QuikTrip 500: Odds, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch for 2019 race

Last week, NASCAR hosted its biggest event of the year in the Daytona 500, and it was about as unpredictable as you can expect.Denny Hamlin, a guy known as a king of the restrictor-plate races, took home the triumph as a massive crash knocked out a huge section of the area down the stretch.

At Atlanta Motor Speedway, there will be many kings on the track as racing starts this week.

Kevin Harvick is the favored at 4/1 odds with eight top-10 finishes in his last 10 races and two career wins over the track there. While Busch also includes five top 10s in his last 10 races and two wins at AMS, kyle Busch and Joey Logano both have 6/1 chances. Logano has no wins, but four top-10 finishes.

And while Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski may get lost in the shuffle, they’re more than formidable in Georgia.

Who wins? Kyle Larson is due for a win, although it may be foolish to choose against Harvick. The 26-year-old went without a win last season, but Atlanta could be the place for him to find Victory Lane. Larson has another place finish in five career races at AMS and three top-10 finishes.
